All sounds are really nice and usable, and there is a plenty of them!
In contrast to most plugins who have 3-4 great sounds that they use to promote them, and when you purchase the pack of 100 sounds you realize that only 5 of them is really good! Also high quality. Another one thing i like in this plugin is that most of the sounds has the right effect that musicians use to play live, into the plugin, so you can record with the true filling of the instrument and not record flat and go to add effects to make it sound more familliar. That helps you to play better and record faster and easier!

Sound ist okay, Unfortunately, the user interface is a disaster; it looks like something from 20 years ago, and it doesn't scale when you enlarge the GUI... it gets pixelated.

We're glad you found the sounds useful. As for the interface, we actually redesigned BALKAN V2 from the ground up with a cleaner, more spacious and easier-to-navigate UI.

We've also made installation and compatibility much smoother, so we'd love for you to give the new version a try.

And regarding the pixelation when scaling the GUI, this can depend on how the DAW handles plugin scaling, but it's definitely something we're continuing to improve.

Just to clarify, BALKAN includes 300+ presets across the BALKAN Essential and Arabic Drums expansions, so there’s quite a lot to explore.

The plugin is also specifically focused on Balkan and Oriental sounds, rather than trying to be a general-purpose instrument with thousands of unrelated presets.

We’ve put a lot of work into making the sounds feel expressive and playable, especially for the Korg/Yamaha-style Balkan playing techniques that inspired the plugin.

Of course, sound is subjective and BALKAN may not be the right fit for everyone, but we really appreciate you sharing your opinion. 🙏
